Highlights of our inaugural summit
It was an day of impressive keynotes and networking at London’s Design Museum for the first summit of our Plug It In campaign
Over the course of the day-long event, an audience of 200 policymakers, business leaders, innovators and industry experts enjoyed a series of fireside chats and panel discussions focused on delivering a realistic plan for the electrification of London’s transport. Speakers at the inaugural event included representatives from Uber, Polestar, TFL, Gridserve and the London Fire Brigade, as well as environmentalists from the Green Alliance, the Climate Group and the Green Finance Institute.
The Plug It In Summit 2022 was the first live event bringing together the Evening Standard’s editorial team, commercial partners and hundreds of experts from across the electric motoring landscape, from thought leaders to manufacturers, law makers to green lobbyists and even flying car designers.
